The 5W unit with flip LCD display allows large icon disply with flip feature for optional reverse mounting. The built-in AVS circuitry allows for an automatic volume stabilizer detecting narrowband and wideband transmission automatically adjusting incoming to comparable levels.

With duplex capability, the radio can operate via a local repeater station (where available), which re-transmits the signal over a wider area to increase your range up to an extra 30-100km depending on location, height and availability of local repeater station.

The backlit display can be set to one of 7 colour options and 4 brightness levels.
